Emil Løvbak

I am a postdoctoral researcher, currently employed at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. There I have a joint position between the groups for uncertainty quantification, and computational science and mathematical modelling. 

My main areas of research are:

• Multilevel Monte Carlo methods for particle simulations
• Adjoint-based optimization methods for stochastic problems
• Numerical methods for kinetic equations with applications in nuclear fusion
